Top Down Sock Knitting for Beginners

In this class, we will be making a child's size sock.  In the past, I have found it easier to make a smaller sock AND teach all the techniques for a basic sock.  We accomplish so much more with larger needles and yarn!  We will be making the socks on size 5 DPN's (double pointed needles) and worsted weight yarn.  We will be making the cuff, heel flap, heel turn, foot and toe.  At the end of the class you will have at least one sock finished and another started. If you struggle with DPN's, don't worry, there are other techniques to try.  This class is fun and knitters who completed the class now knit beautiful adult socks!

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Beginners must be able to knit and purl, create ribbing and know basic decreases. Knitting on DPN's is an asset, but not essential.
