I Want to Dye Yarn!
Join us to learn how to dye your own skeins at home! You will have a choice of kettle dyeing, dip dyeing or hand dyeing your skein of yarn.
All the supplies will be furnished by Spinnin' Yarns when class begins. Please wear OLD CLOTHES AND OLD SHOES!!!! Please bring a plastic bag to transport your wet skein home to dry.
Skill Level: Beginner
Materials: Provided by Spinnin' Yarns
Essentials: Old Clothes and Shoes as well as a bag for your wet skein.
Skills to learn: Safety, Preparing Yarn, Choosing Colors, Figuring the amount of dye to weight of yarn, hands on dyeing for a tonal, dip dyed or hand dyed skein.
You will leave the shop with your own dyed skein of yarn, a $20+ value and the ability to dye more in the future.
